Across history, Islam has not only been a religious tradition but also a source of ethical and political resistance against domination, colonialism, and imperial power. From anti-colonial struggles to contemporary movements for justice, Islamic ideas and institutions have inspired generations to challenge oppression while envisioning more just social and political orders. 

This online conversation with Adnan Hussain explores Islam as an anti-imperialist tradition by examining its historical foundations, intellectual legacy, and contemporary relevance. Rather than viewing anti-imperialism solely through modern political ideologies, the discussion will consider how Islamic thought has articulated concepts of justice, sovereignty, solidarity, and resistance in response to foreign domination and structures of empire.
