YOUTH NETWORK

Our Youth Network pillar is dedicated to building dynamic and far-reaching youth networks that enable young people to organize, connect, and advance international solidarity on pressing global issues. Recognizing youth as a key catalyst of today’s transformation, this pillar focuses on nurturing youth-led spaces where collective action, political awareness, and cross-border collaboration can flourish. Anchored primarily within universities—though not confined to campus boundaries—these networks are initiated and driven by youth themselves. Our work includes establishing and supporting chapter organizations across universities worldwide, linking young leaders to the broader agenda of the Global South (Global Majority), and facilitating their mobilization in campaigns that promote genuine internationalism, peaceful coexistence, global cooperation, and people’s empowerment.

COALITION BUILDING

At Citizens International, we recognize international coalitions and collaborations as critical infrastructure for internationalism. Our coalition-building work focuses on strengthening collective action that advances our organizational vision and values. Through both formalized coalitions and informal engagements, we bring together and work with diverse stakeholders—unions, parties, movements, academic institutions, neighborhood associations, the private sector, and government—to build shared understanding and coordinated responses to global challenges. This work is advanced through organizing conferences, creating platforms for dialogue and consultations, and convening meetings that encourage collaboration, trust-building, and long-term solidarity among partners. By bridging diverse voices and aligning common priorities, we aim to foster stronger, more unified advocacy and impact at the national, regional, and international levels.

PUBLIC ADVOCACY

Our Public Advocacy pillar advances peace, justice, and inclusive multilateralism by shaping public discourse and mobilizing collective action on critical international issues. This work is anchored in two key areas: (a) public campaigns addressing urgent global injustices, including the ongoing genocide in Palestine and violations of international laws against another sovereign nation, and (b) public education through our Multiversity initiative, which seeks to center the histories, voices, and concerns of the Global South (Global Majority). Through public forums, talks, lectures, and the production of educational materials in diverse and interactive formats, we aim to cultivate a deeper sense of internationalism among the wider public and civil society actors. Ultimately, this pillar seeks to strengthen solidarity and encourage meaningful collective action across national boundaries.
