On the 25th May 2026, Imran Rasid, Executive Director of Citizens International joined Bernama TV The Nation together with Arief Arman, Research fellow at PEDIXs IIUM to discuss the role of media in fuelling narratives of hate, on how leaders need to be held accountable, and ways to promote peace in a multicultural society.
The discussion also raised some concerns and heightened politicization of religion and racial issues in Malaysia and elsewhere to spread hatreds and provoke conflicts. Follow the discussion here:
