The agency, which is supported by donations from the Jewish Federations of North America and other Jewish foundations and donors across the globe, says it has arranged to take the children and teenagers for respite in different facilities across the occupied lands on Sunday.
“Additional respite activities are being planned for later in the week in partnership with the Jewish Federations of North America,” the agency said in a statement issued on Saturday.
This is while the Palestinian children are being killed and injured in Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip.
Over 50 Palestinians, including more than a dozen children, have been killed and at least 500 others have been wounded in airstrikes carried out by the Israeli regime on Gaza since November 14. The latest victims include two toddlers, who were killed in attacks on the city of Jabaliya and Bureij area.
Two other Palestinian boys, four and five years old, were also seriously injured in recent such attacks on Gaza.
The Palestinian territory has been blockaded by the Tel Aviv regime since 2007, a situation that has caused a decline in the standard of living, unrelenting poverty, and unprecedented levels of unemployment among the population of about 1.7 million Gazans.
